On
November 28th, Senator Pete Domenici lead a group from New Mexico
to the city of New York. A presentation was made of a special luminaria
to Mayor Guiliani, and there was a blessing of the city by native
Americans from New Mexico.
Among the small group who went to represent Eastern New Mexico
are the following. Watch this page for updates and photos from New

The
trip was a humbling experience. You can’t imagine the vast
devastation until you see it first hand.
I have to say that the hundreds and hundreds of photos and
cards that you see when entering Ground Zero really touched
my heart. It's when you put a face with tragedy that it
really hits home.
I am so proud to have had the opportunity to represent the
Great State of New Mexico on this important trip. New York
City knows that New Mexico truly loves New York!!!
